Indeed We created man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud. 26 And the jinn, We had created them afore of the fire of the scroching wind. 27 But when your Lord said to the angels: "I am verily going to create a human being from fermented clay dried tingling hard; 28 So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, do ye fall down, prostrating yourselves unto him. 29 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 Except Iblis. He refused to bow with the adorers. 31 God asked him, "What is the matter with you, that you are not among those who have prostrated themselves?" 32 He said: "It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud." 33 Allah said: then get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art one damned. 34 Upon thee shall rest the curse, till the Day of Doom.' 35 He said: My Lord! then respite me till the time when they are raised. 36 Allah said: "For sure you are granted respite 37 till the Day the time whereof is known [to Me alone]." 38 [Iblees] said, "My Lord, because You have put me in error, I will surely make [disobedience] attractive to them on earth, and I will mislead them all 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 and for all such, behold, hell is the promised goal. 43 It has seven gates and each gate is assigned for a certain group of people. 44
