When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 He said: "You will not be able to bear with me. 67 "How can you remain patient with that which you do not fully understand?" 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
