Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company. 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Beneficent Allah as a servant. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 To the righteously striving believers God will grant love. 96 So We have only made it easy in your tongue that you may give good news thereby to those who guard (against evil) and warn thereby a vehemently contentious people. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
