They will question you about the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes 105 "Then He shall leave it as a level smooth plain. 106 in which you shall find no crookedness or curvature. 107 On that Day all will follow the summoning voice from which there is no escape; and all voices will be hushed before the Lord of Mercy, and nothing will be heard except a subdued murmur. 108 On that day no intercession availeth save (that of) him unto whom the Beneficent hath given leave and whose word He accepteth. 109 He knows what is before them and behind them, and they do not comprehend Him in knowledge. 110 ۞ Faces will be humble before the Everlasting and the Self-existing God. Despair will strike those who are loaded with the burden of injustice. 111 But he who does of righteous deeds while he is a believer - he will neither fear injustice nor deprivation. 112 Thus we have revealed it as a Lecture in Arabic, and have displayed therein certain threats, that peradventure they may keep from evil or that it may cause them to take heed. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 We had commanded Adam before, but he disregarded it: We found him lacking in resolution. 115
