Q (Qaaf)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By Qaf and the glorious Quran, (you are the Messenger of God). 1 But nay - they deem it strange that a warner should have come unto them from their own midst; and so these deniers of the truth are saying, "A strange thing is this! 2 What! When we are dead and reduced to mere dust, (shall we be raised to life)? Such a return is far-fetched.” 3 We already know how much of them (of their bodies) the earth will consume. With Us there is a Book that contains all records. 4 They gave the lie to the Truth when it came to them. So they are now in a state of great perplexity. 5 What, have they not beheld heaven above them, how We have built it, and decked it out fair, and it has no cracks? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Aad and Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot 13 and the people of Aykah, and the people of Tubba'. They all gave the lie to the Messengers. Thereafter My threat of chastisement against them was fulfilled. 14 So did We tire by creating the first time? Rather they doubt being created again. 15
