The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 and produce sparks 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 Arriving thereby in the center collectively, 5 Most surely man is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 surely on that day their Lord shall be aware of them! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
