And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will surely extract from every sect those of them who were worst against the Most Merciful in insolence. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 And hast thou ever considered [the kind of man] who is bent on denying the truth of Our messages and says, "I will surely be given wealth and children"? 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall lengthen the length of his suffering [in the hereafter,] 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
