T H (Taa Haa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta Ha. 1 We have not Sent down on thee the Qur'an that thou shouldst be distressed. 2 But only as an admonition unto him who feareth. 3 Sent down by One Who created the earth and the lofty heavens. 4 the All-compassionate sat Himself upon the Throne; to Him belongs 5 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on the earth, and all that is between them, and all that is under the soil. 6 Whether you say a thing aloud or inaudibly, He has knowledge of the secret and the hidden. 7 Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names. 8 AND HAS the story of Moses ever come within thy ken? 9 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here; indeed, I have perceived a fire; perhaps I can bring you a torch or find at the fire some guidance." 10 So when he came near the fire, it was announced, “O Moosa!” 11 I am thy Lord; put off thy shoes; thou art in the holy valley, Towa. 12 I Myself have chosen thee; therefore give thou ear to this revelation. 13 "Verily, I - I alone - am God; there is no deity save Me. Hence, worship Me alone, and be constant in prayer, so as to remember Me! 14 Verily the Hour is coming - I wish to conceal it - in order that every one may be requited according to that which he hath endeavoured. 15 Therefore let not him who believes not in it and follows his low desires turn you away from it so that you should perish; 16 What is that in your right band, O Moses?" 17 He said, “This is my staff; I support myself on it, and I knock down leaves for my sheep with it, and there are other uses for me in it.” 18 God said, "Moses, cast it down." 19 He cast it down, and behold! It was a snake, moving quickly. 20 The Lord said, "Hold the serpent and do not be afraid; We will bring it back to its original form." 21 And place your hand in your armpit, it will come forth shining white, without blemish. This is another Sign of Allah, 22 That We may show you [some] of Our greater signs. 23 Go to Pharaoh, he has become insolent' 24
