SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 then do not place me, Lord, with the wrongdoers." 94 Surely We are able to show you what We warn them against. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge with Thee, my Lord! lest they may be present with me. 98 When death comes to any of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 But those whose scales are lighter will perish and abide in Hell for ever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 You are those that when a party of My servants said: 'Our Lord, we believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of those that are merciful,' 109 But you took them for a laughingstock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them! 110 Surely I have rewarded them this day because they were patient, that they are the achievers. 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: 'You have tarried a little, did you know? 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 If anyone invokes, besides Allah, Any other god, he has no authority therefor; and his reckoning will be only with his Lord! and verily the Unbelievers will fail to win through! 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
