With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 We have spread out the earth and how brilliantly it is spread! 48 And of every thing We have created pairs: That ye may receive instruction. 49 Therefore flee unto God! I am a clear warner from Him to you. 50 and do not set up any deity with Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Even so not a Messenger came to those before them but they said, 'A sorcerer, or a man possessed!' 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I do not ask any sustenance from them, nor wish that they give Me food. 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
