Al-Rahman 2 of 3
Everyone on earth is destined to die. 26 but forever will abide thy Sustainer's Self, full of majesty and glory. 27 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 28 Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter. 29 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 30 Soon We shall attend to you -- two big groups [of jinn and mankind]. 31 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 32 O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]. 33 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 34 Flames of fire and molten brass shall be sent against both of you, and you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red. 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 On that day there will be no need to ask mankind or jinn about his sin 39 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 40 The criminals will be recognised from their faces, so will be caught by their forelocks and feet, and thrown into hell. 41 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 42 This is Hell, which the criminals deny. 43 They will go between it (Hell) and the boiling hot water! 44 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 45

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
