No! By the moon 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Indeed, the Fire is of the greatest [afflictions] 35 A warning to mankind, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until death approached us". 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 Why now turn they away from the Admonishment, 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
