Surely We Ourselves have revealed the Quran to you revealing (it) in portions. 23 So wait patiently for the command of your Lord, and do not yield to anyone among them who is sinful or ungrateful; 24 And remember the Name of your Lord every morning and afternoon [i.e. offering of the Morning (Fajr), Zuhr, and 'Asr prayers]. 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Verily! These (disbelievers) love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day (that will be hard). 27 We have created them and strengthened their forms, and when We will, We can change their likenesses with [complete] alteration. 28 This is an admonition: Whosoever will, let him take a (straight) Path to his Lord. 29 But your willing shall be of no avail until Allah Himself so wills. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, Most Wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
