Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the sky breaks apart 1 when the planets are scattered, 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the graves are ransacked, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O MAN! What is it that lures thee away from thy bountiful Sustainer, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 In whatever shape He will He could surely have fashioned you. 8 Rather, you belied the Recompense. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 noble, writers 11 who know what you do. 12 Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 Which they will enter on the Day of Judgment, 15 And they shall by no means be absent from it. 16 And what do you know of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It is the Day when no one shall have the power to do anything for another, and all command shall be Allah's. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
