The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 And raiding at dawn 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 That man is ungrateful to his Lord 6 and surely he is a witness against that! 7 for, verily, to the love of wealth is he most ardently devoted. 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
