We have created the human being out of pure mud-moulded clay 26 whereas the invisible beings We had created, [long] before that, out of the fire of scorching winds. 27 And recall when your Lord said to the angels, “I will create man from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 28 When it is properly shaped and I have blown My Spirit into it, you should then bow down in prostration". 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 But Satan did not; he refused to join those who prostrated themselves. 31 The Lord inquired: "Iblis! What is the matter with you that you did not join those who prostrated?" 32 He said: "It does not behove of me to prostrate myself before a human being whom You have created out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud." 33 The Lord said: "Then get out of here; you are rejected, 34 And lo! the curse shall be upon thee till the Day of Judgment. 35 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 36 He said: So surely you are of the respited ones 37 for an appointed time." 38 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Because you misled me, I shall indeed adorn the path of error for them (mankind) on the earth, and I shall mislead them all. 39 except Your sincere servants". 40 (Allah) said: "This is the Way which will lead straight to Me." 41 over My servants thou shalt have no authority, except those that follow thee, 42 And indeed hell is the promise for all of them. 43 Unto it are seven portals; unto each portal is a portion of them assigned. 44

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
