He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 “And make my task easy for me.” 26 And loose the knot from my tongue, 27 so that they may understand my speech; 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 Let it be my brother Aaron 30 by him confirm my strength, 31 and let him share my task 32 that we may abundantly extol Your glory; 33 “And profusely remember You.” 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We inspired thy mother with this inspiration: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 Recall when your sister walked along and said, "Shall I guide you to one who will take care of him?" Thus We returned you to your mother, so that her eyes might be cooled and that she might not grieve. And you killed a man and We delivered you from sorrow. We tested you with various trials. You stayed for a number of years among the people of Midian, then you came upto the standard, Moses. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 But speak gently to him; perhaps he may yet take heed or even feel afraid." 44 The twain said: O our Lord! verily we fear that he may hasten against us or wax exorbitant. 45 He said: "Have no fear. I am with you, hearing and seeing all. 46 So go to him and say: 'The two of us have indeed been sent by your Lord. So let the children of Israel come with us, and do not oppress them. We have come to you with a token from your Lord. Peace on him who follows the way of guidance. 47 Verily we! it hath been revealed unto us that the torment will be for him who belieth and turneth away. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is He who has laid out the earth for you and traced routes in it and sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth every sort of plant with it, 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
