The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
CONSIDER the heavens and that which comes in the night! 1 And what shall make thee know that which the night-comer is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 There is not a soul that does not have a guardian over it. 4 Let the human reflect of what he is created. 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 That issued from between the loins and ribs. 7 Surely, He is Able to bring him back, 8 On the day when all secrets will be made public, 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 By the Firmament which returns (in its round), 11 by the earth cracking open with new growth. 12 this (Qur'an) is surely a decisive Word, 13 and is not to be taken lightly. 14 Indeed, they are planning a plan, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 Therefore grant a delay to the Unbelievers: Give respite to them gently (for awhile). 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: The Comet (Al-Taareq). Sent down in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
