▼ 55 The All Compassionate
Al-Rahman 3 of 3
But for him who feareth the standing before his Lord there are two gardens. 46 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 47 With spreading branches; 48 Which of your Lord's wonders would you deny? 49 therein two fountains of running water -- 50 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 51 In which will be of every fruit two kinds. 52 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 53 They shall recline on couches lined with brocade, and within reach shall hang the fruits of the two Gardens. 54 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 55 Therein shall be those of refraining looks whom before them hath deflowered neither man nor jinn. 56 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 59 The reward of goodness shall be nothing but goodness. 60 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 Densely covered with foliage, appearing dark. 64 O which of your Lord's bounties will you and you deny? 65 In both of them live springs gush forth. 66 Which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 67 In both of them will be [all kinds of] fruit, and date-palms and pomegranates. 68 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 69 Wherein (are found) the good and beautiful - 70 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 71 They are houris (maidens of Paradise), hidden from view, in pavilions. 72 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? - 73 Neither human nor jinn will have touched them before. 74 Which, then, of the benefits of Your Lord will ye twain belie? 75 Reclining on green cushions and beautiful decorated carpets. 76 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 77 HALLOWED be thy Sustainer's name, full of majesty and glory! 78

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
