The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Al-Qari'ah (the striking Hour i.e. the Day of Resurrection), 1 What is the Clatterer? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A day wherein mankind will be as thickly-scattered moths 4 And the mountains will be like carded wool, 5 Then, as for him whose scales are heavy (with good works), 6 will have a most pleasing life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 His dwelling shall be the Abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
