Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Salamun (peace) be upon Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 except for God's sincere servants; 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 That is how We reward those who do good. 131 surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
