۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 and that is a mighty oath, if you but knew 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 In a Book Hidden. 78 no one can touch it except the purified ones. 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why is it not then that when it (soul) comes up to the throat, 83 And you are at that time looking on - 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why is it not-- if you are not held under authority-- 86 That you send it (not) back-- if you are truthful? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is one of the rejecters, the erring ones, 92 he will be welcomed with boiling water. 93 And burning in hell. 94 Indeed, this is the true certainty, 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 96
