The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who has created and shaped, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then caused it to wither away. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 And this is in the Books of the earliest (Revelation),- 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
