Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The elders of his people replied: "We see clearly that you have gone astray." 60 He said: O my people! not with me is the error, but I am an apostle from the Lord of the worlds. 61 “Conveying to you the messages of my Lord and wishing good for you, and I know from Allah what you do not know.” 62 "Do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your Lord, through a man of your own people, to warn you,- so that ye may fear Allah and haply receive His Mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
