Thus did We deliver the Children of Israel from the humiliating chastisement, 30 From Fir'aun (Pharaoh); Verily! He was arrogant and was of the Musrifun (those who transgress beyond bound in spending and other things and commit great sins). 31 and indeed, We chose them knowingly above all other people, 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 'There is nothing except the first death, we shall never be revived. 35 Bring us our fathers, if what you say is true' 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those who were before them whom We destroyed? Indeed they were sinners. 37 For [thus it is:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in mere idle play: 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Verily the Day of Distinction is the term appointed for all of them. 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 Apart from those to whom God is kind. He is all-mighty and all-merciful. 42

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
