Now surely, unto Pharaoh's folk [too] came such warnings; 41 They, too, rejected all Our signs. So We seized them with the seizure of One Mighty, Omnipotent. 42 Are your disbelievers better than they were, or have you been given exemption in the Books? 43 Or do they say: "We are a well-accoutred army?" 44 [Yet] the hosts [of those who deny the truth] shall be routed, and they shall turn their backs [in flight]! 45 But the Hour is their appointment [for due punishment], and the Hour is more disastrous and more bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Surely We have created everything according to a measure. 49 Our command consists of only one Word which is carried out in the twinkling of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 honorably seated in the presence of the All-dominant King. 55
