The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens with constellations, 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel, 5 They sat by it 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 and their revenge on them was only because they believed in Allah, the Almighty, the Praised, 8 God to whom belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth, and God is Witness over everything. 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Indeed those who believed and did good deeds – for them are Gardens beneath which rivers flow; this is the great success. 11 Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe. 12 Behold, it is He who creates [man] in the first instance, and He [it is who] will bring him forth anew. 13 He is the forgiving and the loving, 14 Lord of the Throne, the All-glorious, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 Of Pharaoh and the Thamud? 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 But Allah doth encompass them from behind! 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
