The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Successful indeed are the believers, 1 who in their prayers are humble 2 And they who turn away from ill speech 3 And those who for the sake of purification are doers. 4 and restrain their carnal desires 5 save from their wives and what their right hands own then being not blameworthy 6 Those who desire to go beyond such limits they commit transgression, 7 and who are faithful to their trusts and to their pledges, 8 And those who are watchful of their acts of prayer. 9 These! they are the inheritors. 10 who shall inherit Paradise therein dwelling forever. 11 We created man out of the extract of clay, 12 Thereafter We made him (the offspring of Adam) as a Nutfah (mixed drops of the male and female sexual discharge) (and lodged it) in a safe lodging (womb of the woman). 13 Then We created of the drop, a clot (of congealed blood) and We created the clot into bitesize tissue, then We created the bitesize tissue into bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it an other creation. Blessed is Allah, the Best of creators! 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 Again, on the Day of Judgment, will ye be raised up. 16 And indeed We have created seven paths above you; and We are not unmindful of the creation. 17 And We sent down out of heaven water in measure and lodged it in the earth; and We are able to take it away. 18 Then through water We caused gardens of date-palms and vines to grow for you wherein you have an abundance of delicious fruits and from them you derive your livelihood. 19 and a tree issuing from the Mount of Sinai that bears oil and seasoning for all to eat. 20 You have a lesson in livestock. We provide you with drink from what is in their bellies, and you have many other benefits from them; some of them you eat, 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
