3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 We saved him and his people from the great distress, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations to come in later times: 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the whole Universe?” 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They exclaimed: "Build a pyre for him, and cast him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 So We gave him the good news of a clement son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Is-haq, a prophet, and of the righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
