And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
