ART THOU NOT aware of how far they who call God's messages in question have lost sight of the truth? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then it will be said to them, "Where is that which you used to associate [with Him in worship] 73 associated with Allah in His Divinity?” They will say: “We have lost them; rather, we never used to call upon anyone before.” Thus will Allah cause them to stumble in error. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 So enter the gates of Hell to abide in it for ever." How evil the abode of the arrogant! 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 And, indeed We have sent Messengers before you (O Muhammad SAW); of some of them We have related to you their story and of some We have not related to you their story, and it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a sign except by the Leave of Allah. So, when comes the Commandment of Allah, the matter will be decided with truth, and the followers of falsehood will then be lost. 78
