And Allah's is the dominion of the heavens and the earth; and on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, then shall lose the followers of falsehood. 27 You will see each community kneeling down; and each community will be summoned to its ledger (of good and evil deeds). You will receive upon that day your recompense for what you had done. 28 "This Our Record speaks about you with truth: For We were wont to put on Record all that ye did." 29 Those who believed and did good deeds will be admitted by their Lord into His mercy -- that shall be the manifest triumph. 30 As to those who disbelieved: What! were not My communications recited to you? But you were proud and you were a guilty people. 31 "And when it was said that the promise of Allah was true, and that the Hour- there was no doubt about its (coming), ye used to say, 'We know not what is the hour: we only think it is an idea, and we have no firm assurance.'" 32 And the evil consequences of what they did will appear to them, and they will be enveloped by what they used to ridicule. 33 And it will be said: "This Day We will forget you as you forgot the Meeting of this Day of yours. And your abode is the Fire, and there is none to help you." 34 This because you laughed at God's revelations and were taken in by the life of the world." So they will neither be taken out of it, nor will be asked to seek God's favour on that day. 35 AND THUS, all praise is due to God, Sustainer of the heavens and Sustainer of the earth: the Sustainer of all the worlds! 36 It is His greatness that dominates the heavens and the earth. He is the Majestic and All-wise. 37
