The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is surely in the earlier Books, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
