Hast thou not seen that Allah, He it is Whom all who are in the heavens and the earth praise, and the birds in their flight? Of each He knoweth verily the worship and the praise; and Allah is Aware of what they do. 41 And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and to Allah is the destination. 42 Do you not see that Allah drives along the clouds, then gathers them together, then piles them up, so that you see the rain coming forth from their midst? And He sends down of the clouds that are (like) mountains wherein is hail, afflicting therewith whom He pleases and turning it away from whom He pleases; the flash of His lightning almost takes away the sight. 43 God alternates the night and the day. In this there is a lesson for the people of understanding. 44 Allah has created every moving (living) creature from water. Of them there are some that creep on their bellies, some that walk on two legs, and some that walk on four. Allah creates what He wills. Verily! Allah is Able to do all things. 45 Verily We have sent down revelations and explained them. Allah guideth whom He will unto a straight path. 46 And they say: We believe in Allah and in the apostle and we obey; then a party of them turn back after this, and these are not believers. 47 And when they are called to Allah and His apostle that he may judge between them, lo! a party of them are averters. 48 And if right had been theirs, they would have come to him readily. 49 Is there disease in their hearts? Or have they begun to doubt [that this is a divine writ]? Or do they fear that God and His Apostle might deal unjustly with them? Nay, it is [but] they, they who are doing wrong [to themselves]! 50
