This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 And was this not a sign for them, that the scholars of the Descendants of Israel may recognise this Prophet? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 Do they want to hasten Our punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 Then there comes to them that with which they are threatened, 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 We never destroyed any habitation but that it had warners 208 We have never been unjust to anyone. 209 No evil ones have brought down this (Revelation): 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 The satans are barred from listening to anything from the heavens. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 Put your trust in the Mighty One, the Merciful, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And watches your movements among those who prostrate in prayer. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Did you not see that they keep wandering in every valley? 225 And how they say that which they do not? 226 Except those who believe and do the right, and remember God a great deal, who retaliate only when they have been wronged. Yet the oppressors will now come to know through what reversals they will be overthrown! 227

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
