Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I am purely a Herald of Warning – and there is no God except Allah, the One, the All Dominant.” 65 He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and all that is between them, the Majestic and All-forgiving". 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 Whence ye turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 [So mention] when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I am going to create a human being from clay. 71 and when I have formed him fully and breathed My spirit into him, prostrate yourselves before him." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Answered [Iblis]: "I am better than he: Thou hast created me out of fire, whereas him Thou hast created out of clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Honour, I will lead all of them astray, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 "This is no less than a Message to (all) the Worlds. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
