Man is prone to say: "Shall I be raised to life after I die?" 66 Doth not man remember that We created him before, when he was naught? 67 So, by thy Lord, without doubt, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Evil Ones (with them); then shall We bring them forth on their knees round about Hell; 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation have We destroyed before these, who were goodlier in goods and outward appearance? 74 (Muhammad), tell them, "The Beneficent God gives respite to those who have gone astray only until they face the torment with which they were threatened or to the Day of Judgment. Then they will find out who will have the most miserable place and the weakest forces. 75 And Allah will increase the guidance for those who have received guidance; and good deeds that remain have the best reward before your Lord, and the best outcome. 76 Have you, then, seen him who disbelieves in Our communications and says: I shall certainly be given wealth and children? 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 By no means! anon they shall deny their worship, and become unto them an adversary. 82
