Say: 'O my Lord, if Thou shouldst show me that they are promised, 93 My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people." 94 And We are certainly able to show thee (in fulfilment) that against which they are warned. 95 Dispel evil with what is good. We know well what they attribute (to Us). 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 I seek refuge with You, Lord, lest they should come near me." 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, 102 And he whose balances shall be light - these are they who have lost themselves; in Hell they are abiders. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 [And God will say:] "Were not My messages conveyed unto you, and were you [not] wont to give them the lie?" 105 They will say, “Our Lord! Our ill-fate overcame us, and we were the astray people.” 106 O our Lord! take us forth from it; then if we return, we shall be wrong-doers indeed. 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 There was a section among My creatures that said: 'O Lord, we believe. Forgive us and have mercy upon us, for You are the best of the merciful.' 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will reply. "We remained for about a day or part of it, but ask those who have kept count". 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whoever invokes with Allah another god-- he has no proof of this-- his reckoning is only with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not be successful. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
