The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 122
