The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 And then makes it dark stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Save that which Allah willeth. Lo! He knoweth the disclosed and that which still is hidden; 7 We shall facilitate for you the Easy Way. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 In which he will neither die nor live. 13 To happiness [in the life to come] will indeed attain he who attains to purity [in this world,] 14 And who mentioned the name of his Lord, then offered prayer. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Lo! This is in the former scrolls. 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
