Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Beholdest thou him who belieth the Requital? 1 So it is he, who pushes away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Ah, woe unto worshippers 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 and deny people the articles of common necessity. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
