Al-Nesaa 5 of 24
God wishes to make it clear to you and guide you through the example of earlier people, and to forgive you, for God is all-knowing and all-wise. 26 He wishes to turn towards you in mercy, but those who follow their own passions want you to drift far away from the right path. 27 Allah intendeth that he shall lighten unto you, and man hath been created weak. 28 O you who believe! Eat not up your property among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you. 29 And whosoever doth that in transgression - and wrong, presently We shall roast him in Fire; and with Allah that is ever easy. 30 If you shun the great sins you have been forbidden, We shall cancel out your minor misdeeds and admit you to a place of honour. 31 And covet not the thing in which Allah hath made some of you excel others. Unto men a fortune from that which they have earned, and unto women a fortune from that which they have earned. (Envy not one another) but ask Allah of His bounty. Lo! Allah is ever Knower of all things. 32 To everyone We have appointed heirs of that which parents and kinsmen leave, and those with whom you have sworn compact. So give to them their share; God is witness over everything. 33
