The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ God's help will certainly support (the believers), so pagans do not (seek) to hasten it. God is too Glorious and Exalted to be considered equal to idols. 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And He created cattle; in them are warm clothing and uses for you, and you eat from them. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they bear your loads to a city which ye could not reach except with travail of souls; verily your Lord is Kind, Merciful. 7 And (He made) horses and mules and asses that you might ride upon them and as an ornament; and He creates what you do not know. 8 Some paths lead away from God but one must follow the path that leads to God. Had God wanted, He could have guided (all to the right path). 9
