But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller), little is that you remember! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 then We would surely have cut his life-vein 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And indeed We know that some among you are deniers. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And He, He is indeed the ultimate Reality. 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
