In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the poor, 3 So woe to the worshippers 4 Who are neglectful of their prayers, 5 to those who make display 6 And refuse Al-Ma'un (small kindnesses e.g. salt, sugar, water, etc.). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
