Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And certainly We have made strongholds in the heaven and We have made it fair seeming to the beholders. 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 And surely, it is We who give life and make to die. We are the Inheritor. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
