WITH ALL THIS, man [often] says, "What! Once I am dead, shall I again be brought forth alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 then We shall know very well those most deserving to burn there. 70 And there is none among you who shall not pass over hell; this is an obligatory affair, binding upon your Lord. (Allah will make everyone pass over the back of hell – on a thin bridge.) 71 Then We shall save those who use to fear Allah and were dutiful to Him. And We shall leave the Zalimun (polytheists and wrongdoers, etc.) therein (humbled) to their knees (in Hell). 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say thou: whosoever is in error - surely unto him the Compassionate lengtheneth a length, until when they behold that wherewith they were threatened, either the torment or the Hour, then they shall come to know whosoever is worse in position and weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Hast thou observed him who disbelieveth in Our signs and saith: surely I shall be vouchsafed riches and children. 77 Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken from the Most Merciful a promise? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Never; soon they will deny ever worshipping them, and will turn into their opponents. 82
