Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Therefore be not in haste against them, We only number out to them a number (of days). 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and drive those who were lost in sin unto hell as a thirsty herd is driven to a well 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 Whereby almost the heavens are torn, and the earth is split asunder and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 Everyone on the Day of Judgment will individually come into the presence of God. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 How many generations living before them did We destroy? Do you find anyone of them around or do you even hear any word from them? 98
