Moses said: "O my Lord, enlarge my breast, 25 And make my mission easy. 26 and my tongue fluent 27 "That they understand my speech, 28 And give to me an aider from my family: 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 Surely Thou seest into us.' 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 [Saying], 'Cast him into the chest and cast it into the river, and the river will throw it onto the bank; there will take him an enemy to Me and an enemy to him.' And I bestowed upon you love from Me that you would be brought up under My eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 "Go you and your brother with My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.), and do not, you both, slacken and become weak in My Remembrance. 42 Go, both of you to Pharaoh, for he has transgressed all bounds. 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They said, "Lord, we are afraid of his transgression and rebellion against us". 45 He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 ‘It has indeed been revealed to us that the punishment is upon the one who denies and turns away.’” 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 Pharaoh asked, "What about the previous generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 Eat, and graze your cattle; indeed in this are signs for people of intellect. 54
