Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they cut off their religion among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which is with them. 53 So leave them in their error for a time. 54 Do they think that by what We aid them with of wealth and children, 55 We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 And those who with their Lord associate not anyone. 59 And they who give what they give while their hearts are fearful because they will be returning to their Lord - 60 those, hasten in good works, outracing to them. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 Nay, but their hearts are in ignorance of this (Qur'an), and they have other works, besides, which they are doing; 63 until - after We shall have taken to task, through suffering, those from among them who [now] are lost in the pursuit of pleasures - they cry out in [belated] supplication. 64 Cry not for succor this day; surely you shall not be given help from Us. 65 For when My revelations were read out to you, you turned back on your heels and fled 66 behaving arrogantly, and making fun, and talking nonsense (about the Book in your nightly chats)." 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or did they not know their Messenger, so they are toward him disacknowledging? 69 Or say they: "There is madness in him?" Nay, but he brought them the truth [i.e. "(A) Tauhid: Worshipping Allah Alone in all aspects (B) The Quran (C) The religion of Islam,"] but most of them (the disbelievers) are averse to the truth. 70 But if the Truth had followed their inclinations, the heavens and the earth and whoever is in them would have been ruined. Rather, We have brought them their message, but they, from their message, are turning away. 71 Are you asking them for something? What Allah has given you is the best. He is the Best of providers. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 But those who believe not in the Hereafter turn away from the straight path. 74 ۞ And though We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, still they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering blindly. 75 We inflicted Punishment on them, but they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor do they submissively entreat (Him)!- 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of severe punishment, then lo! They will be plunged into destruction with deep regrets, sorrows and in despair. 77
